Q) How can I join TAR-NAR?

A) Just show up at a launch and fly! That's all there is to it. We do recommend that you join the national club, check out the NAR home page for details.

Q) When and where do you hold club meetings?

A) We handle all club business at the monthly launches. Currently, there are no non-flying meetings scheduled. Our launches are held in Whitakers, NC which is about ten miles north of Rocky Mount. (see link above for directions).

Q) My kids and I just want to launch small rockets (A-D motors) in the Raleigh area. Where can we fly?

A) Good launch sites are hard to find. The best that we know of is the parking lot at the Carter-Finley Stadium, across from the state fair grounds. If you know of alternate sites, let us know! We are always scouting for new launch sites.
